Package Inclusions & Services
The hire price covers all the essentials for a hassle-free weekend:
- 3-Day Hire: The bike is available for the entire duration of the event weekend.
- On-Site Storage: The bike must be stored securely with us on-site overnight.
- Daily Safety Checks: The on-site mechanics will carry out full safety and mechanical checks at the end of each ride day to ensure the bike is in top condition for the next morning.
- Comprehensive Support:
- Delivery and Collection: The bike is delivered to the event site and collected afterwards.
- Mechanical Support: On-site mechanical support is available throughout the event weekend.
The Bike: Scott Speedster Aluminium Gravel Bike
You will be provided with a versatile Scott gravel bike, suitable for a variety of terrains. The specifications include:
- Frame: Durable aluminium alloy frame.
- Fork: Lightweight carbon fork to help absorb vibrations.
- Gearing: Shimano 2x10 speed groupset for a wide range of gears.
- Brakes: Reliable disc brakes for consistent stopping power in all conditions.
- Tyres: 45mm tubed tyres, offering a balance of speed and comfort.
Please note: While these are the target specifications, slight variations may occur based on availability.
Helmets and pedals
Helmets and spd pedals are available for hire here ..
You are welcome bring your own pedals and saddle and we will assist to fit and remove.
Whats included
What is included in the hire price?
Your bike will come equipped with –
- 2 x water bottle cage
- 1 x pump
- 1 x small seat pack
- 2 x tyre levers
- 2 x inner tube
- 1 x puncture kit
- 1 x small multi tool
We do not supply water bottles, please bring your own or we will have some for sale
Tube size is 700 x 28- 32 presta if you want to bring some spares
Delivery and set up
Your bike will be delivered to Games park , Gatehouse of Fleet, Castle Douglas, DG7 2HU.
It will be available from Friday 15th May and we are onsite from 9 am to 7 pm.
Please present your 5 digit bike hire booking number on arrival. You will have received an automated booking confirmation when you booked which included this number. We can supply a copy if required.
You will be assigned one of our mechanics to help get the bike ready.
Cancellation and refunds
What happens if I need to cancel?
Refunds will be available until 14/04/2026.
We will refund any cycle hire payment minus 25% admin fee.
Refund options will close on 15/04/2026 and we will only offer transfers to next years event.
It is expected you will now have the correct insurance to cover any reasons for non-attendance.
