I would highly recommend Cycle Hire Scotland to anyone traveling to the region for their cycling adventures. John was absolutely fantastic to work with. Before arriving in Scotland, I was able to work with him to select the perfect gravel bike, sort out payment, and arrange to have the bike delivered to where I was staying. After arriving in the country, John was early to meet me and get things set up. He made sure the bike was fit for my dimensions and that I had all the kit needed to be successful. Something quite unexpected was John chatted with us while setting up the bike about our cycling plans in the area. He confirmed some of the routes we were planning and suggested some others based on his tremendous local knowledge of the routes and conditions. We took his advice and were rewarded with some of the most fantastic cycling my brother and I have ever had! We rode through the countryside, over the mountains, around the lochs and discovered why Scotland is certainly one of the best locations in the world for gravel riding! Truly, and without any hyperbole, we had one of the most memorable and rewarding weeks of cycling either of us had experienced and it was really due in great part to John's support. After our week had ended, John came by to collect the bike, hear all about our adventures and suggested additional opportunities for our next trip out. We will certainly be working with him again on our next trip to Scotland! My brother and I still talk about that trip each time we get together and we look forward to cycling with John and the Cycle Hire Scotland team again!!!
